Launch of Philadelphia (Communities In Schools of Philadelphia) is a charitable 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1986 as an affiliate in the largest stay in school network provides services to students in their schools and the community,
drawing primarily on existing community resources.
To accomplish our mission, Launch of Philadelphia administers 5 programs throughout 35 schools, grades K-16, and adults addressing over 7,000
individual student needs annually. Programmatic focus areas include: academic preparedness, individual student case management support, post-secondary education and workforce planning, teen pregnancy and 21st Century Life Skill
Development.
Create educational and occupational opportunities for students and adults, launching them towards success in school and in life.

Nyne Sellers understands that access to resources and opportunities for success, creates productive students and successful adults. Appointed as President & CEO Launch of Philadelphia (Communities In Schools of Philadelphia) in 2019, Nyne took the
helm of the 36 years old organization and as a change agent pioneered new ways of doing business. To date, Nyne has spent over 20 years serving youth and families in the Delaware and Philadelphia region within the Communities
In Schools network and assisting over 6,000 youth and families.
Her expertise as an educational and executive professional with specialties which span from high wealth to high poverty/high
risk communities. For the past decade Nyne has served as a Vice President of Education and Workforce Development; Director/Principal who spearheaded the local and national models of the CIS of Philadelphia Education Center,
a comprehensive, multidisciplinary alternative education center that supported nontraditional students, where more than 1,000 students were able to earn their high school diploma/GED credentials/21st Century skills. Nyne has
collaboratively procured over $15 million in funding for Communities In Schools of Philadelphia. Sellers received her Bachelor of Arts from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She also holds a Master of Science in Human
Services & Community Psychology from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. and a Master of Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Moreover, Sellers received a certificate in French Civilization from Sorbonne
Universite in Paris, France and is a certified Communities In Schools National Master Trainer. She holds membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the National Staff Development Council. She resides in Philadelphia
with husband and four sons.
McArthur Laws holds the title of Chief Financial Officer for Launch Philadelphia. Having over 15 years of experience in non-profit organizations in the Philadelphia School District, McArthur understands the value and impacts that school programs bring to
the youth and the difference it makes in their communities. Managing financial staff with payroll, financial planning, and forecasting, McArthur contributes to the backbone of this organization.
Possessing a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master's in Education, Treena Y. Reid has over 37 years of educational and executive experience. She has overseen multi-million-dollar programs for profit and non-profit organizations. With multiple awards in her
professional experience, it's no question why Treena executes her position so well as Chief Program Officer for Launch Philadelphia.
Devon is a financial professional with over 35 years of banking and capital markets experience, including 19 years of Corporate Banking experience.
Devon was previously a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager in Mid-Corporate and Middle Market Banking for RBS/Citizens Bank. As a Senior Relationship Manager, his role was to establish, maintain and maximize customer relationships in $1 Billion portfolios. His portfolio included manufacturing companies, shipping, utilities, oil & gas and large financial service companies in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He brings a broad range of experience in debt capital markets as a Joint Lead Arranger and other agent leveled roles in deals. As an arranger and agent, Devon has led numerous acquisition financing for Fortune 1,000 clients. He has extensive experience in Merger and Acquisitions, as a Project Coordinator in Strategic Planning for Mellon Bank. He oversaw buy and sell side transactions for the Bank. He successfully executed over $600 million in transactions in that role.
Devon currently runs Castleton Financial Consulting that he founded in 2015. Castleton offers a wide range of services to small businesses and middle market sized companies. These services include: Fractional CFO Services, guidance in debt and capital restructuring. As well as, business and marketing plan preparations, financial search and procurement, management development, and human resources advising.
